Sometimes in your sales process, you want to enforce the collection or validity of the data on your deals.
Adding in mandatory fields into your pipeline is easy and gives you the ability to ensure your team are adding accurate information at each step.
Here is an example of a mandatory field being used in a sales pipeline.
To create a mandatory field, click settings (the cog in the top right hand corner) > Sales > Deals > and then click on the pipeline you want to edit.
If you want the question to be mandatory, tick the required box. If you just want it to ask for the data but allow your team to progress without entering the data, don't tick required.
