Lesson 5 | Analysing your email

This section is about analysing and understanding your email sends.

 

Once you have created and sent your email, navigate back to the opening window.

From here, you will see the Analyze tab beside the manage tab. Select the Analyze tab.

From here, you will see the headline stats of the emails that have been sent. 

You need to contextualise the information in here as stats may look good, but without relating them back to the objectives of the email, they do not make sense.

Scroll down to the email performance tab and look at the click through rates and open rates of individual emails. Then compare this to the context of the email. Why was it sent? And what would the outcome for example of a weekly newsletter have a higher open rate than a cold approach? Be sure to look at the context of the email, not just the numbers.
