Lesson 1 | Creating properties

The first lesson covers the importance of properties and understanding how they work.

 

Properties are the building blocks of your CRM and you will need to align these to the goals of your wider campaigns.

To get to properties, navigate to the top right and select the cog to open your settings.

On the left-hand side, select "Properties" from the menu.

Doing this will open the Properties screen. From here, you will be able to organise and create properties.

Select if you wish to work on contacts, companies, deals or ticket properties.

Once you have selected your category, you can create a property and a property group. 

A property group is a way to organise your properties. First, click "create a property group" and name this group.

Once you have named your property group, click save and create a property.

Add in a label and internal name for how you want the property to appear.

Add in a description of what the property is.

Next, select the group where the property is going to sit.

Next, select the type of field where the property information is going to be stored.
